We have utilised biaxial braiding technology to enable automated, high quality production of continuous fibre composite components. This mechanical interlocking results in high energy impact absorption properties and a stronger, tougher, more flexible alternative to traditional woven composites.

Carbon braid cannot be unidirectional; it will always have an angle and is therefore not as strong or as able to generate the power of a unidirectional layup. By combining a structured unidirectional core and applying a carbon braid sleeve over the top we are able to utilise the benefits of two construction methods to create a stick that can generate more power and is able to withstand greater impact forces when compared to standard construction methods.

Braid goes out of shape on the uneven surface e.g. around the head of a stick and this can create weak points in the construction. We use a pre-preg system and then the last layer of braid to give improved coverage to this key area to improve strength and durability.

The epoxy system used in our sticks features Graphene reinforcement and this can improve tensile, impact and breakage strength by 20-30%. Carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) weighs up to 80% less than steel and up to 70% less than aluminium. This reduces weight while increasing stiffness to optimise power transference to the ball.

In addition to this we reinforce the backhand edge and heel with a special aramid to enhance impact and abrasion resistance.

A matrix system which includes a conventional epoxy resin along with a revolutionary material GRAPHENE, which provides high impact, flexural and tensile strength. This Graphene Matrix results in a significant improvement in micro-hardness when compared to other matrix systems.

A modified rubber technology that enhances the bonding of the rubber with epoxy molecules to create a material that provides superior shock absorption. In traditional methods the addition of this extra layer results in a poor bonding between the rubber and the stick, the result being that this additional layer can easily come away. The use of EPOFLEX means that this weakness is taken away as this additional layer becomes an integral part of the sticks construction which further enhances the shock absorption properties and improves longevity.

A technology that combines rubber and cork to improve the bonding process with epoxy molecules. This technology provides increased shock absorption and delivers a crisp, but soft touch.

Using a combination of high grade materials, we've created a technology with superior shock absorbing characteristics and performance to take the player experience to the next level.

Cork is a renewable, naturally sourced material which means that it is good for the environment and can be harvested without damaging the diverse ecosystems in which the cork trees live and support. It offers an excellent performance/weight ratio and can provide a substantial weight saving when compared to an equivalent amount of treated carbon fibre. Cork features a high concentration of a substance called Suberin, this waxy compound helps to give excellent elasticity and makes cork excellent at suppressing vibration. Our ECO-HYBRID model combines woven Dynanotex Carbon Fibre and high grade cork to produce a Dynanotex-Cork Composite Hybrid to offer the perfect blend of materials. The cork offers the player unrivalled touch and feel when on the ball, whilst the Dynanotex Carbon Fibre provides superior power when striking the ball.

Nano Technology constructions features a multiwall layering of carbon nanotubes to create a larger nanostructure which has extraordinary strength. This structural technology eradicates the rotational twisting and flexing of the shaft to maximise the potential power output. In addition, this technology also allows the production of lightweight sticks without reducing the overall strength.

REACTIVE LIQUID POLYMER

A modified epoxy system that forms a dispersed phase of particles with a diameter of just a few micrometres to increase the strength of the stick and the performance of the fibre matrix. The overall effect is a noticeable enhancement of the fibre matrix to improve the strength, durability and performance of the stick against regular composite constructions.

TK’s proprietary technology utilises Piezoelectric Fibres, active ceramic fibres that demonstrate a unique property that converts kinetic energy into electrical signals and finally heat energy helping dissipate ball play vibrations. Vibrations that would normally travel to the handle are therefore converted and dissipated as heat, undetectable to the player.

A specially designed reinforcement where the unidirectional carbon roving is aligned at the zero angle with un-woven carbon and then bonded together in sheet form. These straight carbon bars are then held together during the production process to keep their alignment and the zero angle. This reinforcement process has been refined for 2017 by our technology team to produce stiffer sticks that maximise potential power output.

The lowest and most aggressive placement of the 25mm apex, allied to an extended toe make this perfectly suited to players wanting to gain maximum power when flicking. A shaved toe shape with balanced head thickness helps to assist the player in other areas of all round game play.

A new profile for 2017 designed for players looking to improve pick up when flicking. A low placement of the 25mm apex is combined with a concave groove placed in the lower third of the shaft to assist pick up and increase slingshot momentum when flicking. A precision engineered head shape creates sharper angles and reduced head thickness to further assist all areas of game play.

Designed to sit between our Innovate and Superstate profiles, the Accelerate offers a low placement of the 25mm apex. This profile offers high level assistance to dribbling, aerial passing skills and drag flicking.
