The launch of the TK 2019 collection marks an important milestone in our brand‘s 40 year history. Connecting the dots between past present and future, the elephants are going full circle and return to the back of a TK stick . While the shape and crossed trunks trace back to the good old days, the updated, modern version represents the progressive philosophy of a Brand that hasn‘t stopped innovating for over three decades. The 2019 campaign was shot by local creative collective Verbwideb, as well as talented photographer Roberto Brundo in the streets of Berlin. Vivid and raw, yet also progressive and modern, the german capital suited perfectly in the concept of connecting past and future. A rundown streetcourt in Berlin-Wedding upgraded with modern lighting, served as the perfect spot, to emphasize the contrast even further. The connection between past and future continues throughout the campaign, almost like a golden thread. We went deep into our archives to dig out some vintage TK grails, combining the new 2019 bags and sticks with some retro flair. To showcase the contrast even further, the whole lookbook was shot on film camera, while the campaign video has a very modern, progressive approach.
